Adam Cavanagh - fantastic work!

photographer self portrait contest

Hey party people!

Most of you know I’m a member and involved with the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers. Well they have just announced a self portrait contest for photographers.

I’d love to win it, but I’ll need your help! I’m sure the competition will be stiff. Please take a look at some of the creative stuff these photographers can do, and vote for your favorite! If it’s not me, that’s ok. These are all great people, and they’ll appreciate an honest vote as well. So go ahead, Click here to vote for your favorite photographer self portrait!

Philadelphia Inquirer Interview

Last week I was asked to participate in an interview for a story on boudoir photography for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Well, today was the day I got to sit down with the reporter and say my piece. It wasn’t easy. I say this because, I’m not quite as good at being interviewed as I am at making great images. Some of the questions were ones I expected, while others had me struggling to put into words, exactly what it is that I do and how I do it…from my perspective.

Anyway, it was a cool experience. I’ll be sure to post the article here when it hits the press.

Wed-Pick.com pricing and package presentation for photographers

For all of my photographer friends, we’ve recently developed a very slick way to present your pricing and package options to your potential clients. You should check it out at Wed-Pick.com But don’t let the name fool you, it works just as well for portrait, boudoir, and commercial photographers as well.
There are still a couple of spots available at the introductory price, but you will have to hurry as it ends tonight at midnight!

Maryland Senior Portraits

Today Ashley came in to have some traditional senior portraits done. We used a simple lighting setup on a white seamless background. Equipment used: Canon 1DMkIII w/50mm f1.2L lens.

The shot below we used only the available light from the door behind me. The “Open Door Studio”.
