Who is Mark Gardner?

I’m a husband of 13 years, a dad, a friend, a colleague. The more people you ask, the more ways you’ll find to describe me.

I love fishing, poker, baseball, classic cars, motorcycles, and good times with friends and family.

I am a documentary wedding and portrait photographer serving the entire Mid-Atlantic region as well as popular destinations in the US, Caribbean, Mexico, and the world.

In my Army days, as I traveled the world, I photographed people and places as a creative outlet. Somewhere along the way a talent for capturing life emerged. Over the years I have honed my ability to skillfully capture moments in a distinctive style. I strive to create beautiful images that are not only unique, but most importantly, real.

With my documentary approach, I’ll capture the emotions and moments of your wedding day as they unfold.

For me, your wedding is more than capturing moments; it’s also about the creation of amazing portraits. No matter the location, I always find that sweet spot to create the unique images that I am known for.  Working quickly, in such a manner that you'll look awesome, feel great, and have a blast doing it.

I'd love to talk to you about your photography needs; give me a call or drop by my studio located in North East, MD. I'd love to meet you. My available dates for 2009 weddings are booking quickly.

Are your images as important to you, as they are to me?

Saturday I worked with Heather Zawalick covering the wedding of Lauren and Lee. When I heard the story about them buying all of the local stores supply of slip-and-slides because of the 100% chance of rain…this group was going to keep me busy. (It did rain…about 5 minutes…I never saw a slip-and-slide)

Some fun while building the pyramid.

Jeff Dietz - I love the last shot... great light!

name - Nice...very very nice,

Angie - Mark these look GREAT!! Sorry for the lack of slip-n-slides... but you got your pyramid AND a tandem bike! I think the party finally wrapped up around 3:30am! Hope you had a safe trip back!

Heather Zawalick - These rock! I'm so glad you joined me and I can't wait to see the rest!
